In August 2023, in response to the hacking of 25 Bangladeshi government and private websites by Indian hackers, BCF took control of over 1,000 Indian government and private websites. In May 2023, the Bangladesh Civilian Force carried out a cyber attack against Israel. In this attack, they took down a total of 14 websites, including five government websites, and took control of the computers used by 700 Israeli citizens. In December 2024, BCF claimed responsibility for hacking the Facebook page of Indian journalist Mayukh Ranjan Ghosh. The page was hacked on charges of spreading anti-Bangladesh propaganda and inciting communal unrest.

BCF assists in recovering hacked social media accounts. So far, they have restored over 13,000 social media accounts of celebrities and general citizens.
