Cy-Kill has all the standard GoBot powers, plus several other special abilities. He is cyborg with a living brain inside a robotic body, and thus is highly resistant to harm and very strong. He can survive in conditions that would kill a human. He can release powerful energy blasts from his eyes or hands. He also emits hypnotic rays from his eyes, which can be used to control humans and GoBots. He can turn from a motorcycle to a large humanoid robot. As a humanoid robot he can fly and he can use his wheels as thrown weapons. He can emit a dense cloud of smoke as a motorcycle. He is an excellent commander, able to inspire others though fear.

Cy-Kill stands 3.5 meters tall as a robot.

Cy-Kill has utilized a number of unique weapons, including a modified mini-stealth device which allowed to to appear like Leader-1.

The Guardians were able to eventually capture him. Unfortunately he used his wheels against the guards to aid his escape (since his weapons were disconnected), causing the release of his lieutenant [[Fitor]] (also a former Guardian). Because of Fitor's aid, Cy-Kill was able to escape to his massive mobile base, [[Roguestar]], and threaten GoBotron once again.

Although an attempted coup by the [[Master Renegade]] allowed the Guardians to assemble the [[Power Warrior Courageous (GoBots)|Courageous]] and save both Earth and [[GoBotron]], Cy-Kill would remain at large, threatening both planets.

In episode 15, "[[It's The Thought That Counts]]", the Guardians set up a lab to test their power suits on Earth. With [[Defendor (GoBots)|Defendor]] and [[Blaster (GoBots)|Blaster]] patrolling the lab Professor von Joy and [[Path Finder (GoBots)|Path Finder]] tested a new suit on [[Dozer (GoBots)|Dozer]]. Cy-Kill captured and tried to brainwash [[Scooter (GoBots)|Scooter]], making him sabotage the lab and self destructing. Rest-Q check out Scooter, but Scooter refused to be examined. Eventually Scooter was freed from Renegade control. In episode 35, "[[Tarnished Image]]" [[Dr. Go]] creates modified mini-stealth devices that allow the Renegades to appear like Guardians. Cy-Kill, Crasher and Cop-Tur disguise themselves as Leader-1, Scooter and Turbo and go on a rampage on Earth while the real Guardians are sent on a fake rescue mission. In the ''[[Eagle (comic)|Eagle]]'' comic strip ''[[Robo Machines (comic)|Robo Machines]]'', Cy-Kill was a petty criminal on Robotron, already known to the Security Forces, before submitting himself to Stron-Domez' Robo Machine process, which added a transformation mechanism to his cybernetic body. While the initial attempt to assassinate the planet's president failed, Cy-Kill at least aided Stron-Domez' escape. He was modified on arrival on Earth, given a new fission cannon weapon by Stron-Domez. However, he held feelings of contempt for fellow Robo Machine Tank, and these bubbled over during their attack on Cholkham, when Cy-Kill was tricked into fighting his Renegade comrade. When the Security Forces tracked the Renegades to their [[Birmingham]] factory, Cy-Kill was the only Robo Machine to escape, carrying Stron-Domez to safety. He then performed an operation on his master to convert him into [[Zod (GoBots)|Zod]].

Cy-Kill then coerced a variety of human tramps and vagrants to work in Zod's new factory, situated on the outskirts of London. However, he began to dislike Zod after the monster stole the pleasure of killing the SF Robo Machine [[Carry-All]] from him. Cy-Kill also grew more ambitious, and modified the brain of the Devil Invader [[Vamp (GoBots)|Casmodo]]n so it would obey him over Zod. He was briefly disabled by [[Leader-1|Leader One]] at the scrapyard. He showed his contempt for Zod by abandoning his damaged ersatz creator in the scrapyard, intending to observe and support Casmodon's attack on [[London]]. However, he was detained fighting the SF robot [[Scooter (GoBots)|Scooter]] outside the city. Scooter, with the aid of human Charlie Brampton, managed to trick him into being hit by a train, delaying him while Casmodon was defeated. He attempted to shoo them down once he extricated himself, but was driven off by Leader One. Frustrated at the Devil Invader's damage, he set off after the remaining SF forces by himself, and his attack was enough to cause the depleted Guardians to withdraw from Earth. At the end of the series, Cy-Kill was left on Earth, seemingly with Casmodon at his disposal.

Cy-Kill appeared in the episode 17 "[[Coup de Grunge]]". A Renegade assault on the Guardian communication hub was repulsed by Courageous, putting Cy-Kill in a foul mood. He vented his frustration on several of his men, which backfired shortly thereafter when the [[Master Renegade]] made a bid for leadership. He offered the Renegades four Power Suits and the ability to form their own combiner. Loco, Fly Trap, Screw Head, and Spoiler took him up on his offer and imprisoned Cy-Kill and [[Cop-Tur]]. The Renegades assaulted the GoBotron Fortress protecting GoBotron's capital, GoBotolis. Their combined form was defeated by Courageous when the Master Renegade and Loco argued about who should control the giant form. The Guardians derisively nicknamed the combiner "Grungy". The arrivals are told that they are among many to arrive on this world and are brought to "processing". Among those waiting in processing was Cy-Kill.

When the host of ''[[Ask Vector Prime]]'' went away on a mission several replacement hosts were given a chance to fill in. After a Bumblebee from the [[Tyran]] universal cluster didn't work out, the editor decided they wanted a host who would give more straight forward answers. That host was Cy-Kill, who renamed the series Renegade Rhetoric. During the series Cy-Kill informed his followers about his adventures back in his universe, how he had come to Axiom Nexus, and how he had spent time recruiting several Transformers to his cause. During the series his troops raided Shockwave's lab for technology and once the authorities traced the criminal action to Cy-Kill and attempted to arrest him during a program. Cy-Kill responded by calling his Renegade forces into action and unveiling his most powerful secret ally, the Renegade GoBot watch named Gong. Gong transported all Cy-Kill's forces back to his home universe. Cy-Kill was replaced as host by the Decepticon [[Space Warp]]. Despite the criminal behavior of Cy-Kill as a host, his series rated the most popular among all the substitute hosts.
Cy-Kill proved so popular as an ''Ask Vector Prime'' host Fun Publications brought him back for his own ''Renegade Rhetoric'' Facebook series. In this series Cy-Kill announced that [[Dr. Go]] used technology stolen from TransTech Shockwave to continue his broadcasts.

Once Cy-Kill returned to his home world he had [[Dr. Go]] use some of the technology stolen from Shockwave to resume his broadcasts, believing the show help recruit new allies to his cause.

In the episode 58 story "[[Opportunity Knocks Part 2]]" Cy-Kill chronicled his return to "Level 1", his home universal stream, just as the Guardians were staging an attack on Rogue Star. Cy-Kill and his Renegade recruits from [[Axiom Nexus]] joined Fitor, Spoons and Stretch in repelling an attack by Courageous, Leader-1, the Guardian Command Centers and the new Guardian Academy graduates Beamer, Guide Star and Sky Fly. During the battle Monsterous was able to best Courageous and tore though the Command Centers, but a ploy from Leader-1 tricked Cy-Kill into unleashing a massive blast which struck Monsterous, shattering the combiner into his components.

Cy-Kill appears in the 1986 [[Golden Press]] story ''[[The Sea Vaporizer]]''. In the story Guardian Command Center is stationed on Earth's moon as Beamer plays games on the space scanner. An alert sounds and Leader-1 discovers the Earth is being enveloped by a steam cloud. He sends Guide Star to investigate. Guide Star discovers a beam of light that is boiling Earth's oceans and follows it into space where they discover the Renegade GoBot ship Thruster, but then contact with Guide Star is cut off. Leader-1 takes up the investigation, and Cy-Kill uses a space mirage projector to conceal his presence. Leader-1 works past the mirage to discover a space station where Cy-Kill, Crasher and Cop-Tur are using a giant lenses to focus the sun's rays into a beam to boil away Earth's oceans, leaving the planet uninhabitable by humans. Cy-Kill attempts to blast Leader-1 out of the sky, but Leader-1 is able to neutralize the beam with a blast of his own. Cy-Kill then sends Pow Wow and Crasher to attack Leader-1. They attempt to ram the Guardian, but Leader-1 avoids the attack causing the two Renegades to hit each other. Leader-1 frees Guide Star and deflects an attack by Cy-Kill, blowing out one of the Renegade leader's tires. Cy-Kill appears in the 1986 [[Golden Press]] story ''[[Ambush in Space]]''. In the story the Guardians decide to take a vacation on one of the resort planets. They take the Command Center and their first stop on a refueling planet, but after taking off their engines conk out thanks to micro dust in the fuel placed by Cy-Kill. The Command Center is drawn to the planet Fintergand by an electromagnet operated by Cy-Kill. Once forced to land Pow Wow attacks Scooter, but his attack is deflected by a boulder thrown by Sky Fly. Cop-Tur attacks Leader-1 with rust rockets, but he tricks the rockets into following him to Cy-Kill. Cy-Kill gets hit by the rockets and rusts in place. Pow Wow attempts to ram Beamer, but Beamer flies out of the way at the last moment, causing Pow Wow to hit Odd Ball instead. Breez attempts to hide from the Guardians in a crater, but Guide Star and Sky Fly shoot "obmug" into the crater. Cy-Kill lead the Renegade forces in "[[A Spy Among Us]]" by [[Telepictures Publications]]. In the story Cy-Kill had [[Night Fright]] attack [[Super Couper]] and plant a bugging device on the Guardian. Cy-Kill used the device to overhear information about an incoming robot freighter filled with Zintrinium. As the Renegades continued to anticipate the Guardian's moves, Leader-1 reasoned they were bugged and was able to lead the Renegades into a trap in the freighter's hold by giving them false information. Once the Renegades were trapped inside Leader-1 had Scooter program the ship to fly to the [[Crab Nebula]], giving the Renegades a nice little vacation.<REF>{{cite comic|title=GoBots Magazine|story =A Spy Among Us|cartoonist=[[Paul Kirchner]] |publisher=[[Telepictures Publications]]|date=Winter 1987}}</REF>
