Prime Minister of Bangladesh

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh is the head of government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The role is the highest executive authority in the country, overseeing the operation of the government and the implementation of policies and laws. The Prime Minister is appointed by the President of Bangladesh, who must select a member of the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) who commands the confidence of the majority of its members.
