According to a 2021 report by LatestLY, the founders initially carried out much of the work themselves while developing a base of recurring commercial clients.
Cleaneroo's current corporate website identifies Deflorio as Founder & Head of Growth and states that he built the company with a focus on consistent commercial cleaning services and documented operational systems.
Under Deflorio's leadership, Cleaneroo expanded its services to include office, school, medical and healthcare, strata and other commercial cleaning services. The company states that it operates across Sydney and the wider New South Wales market and services more than 200 commercial locations.
Cleaneroo's stated management systems include certification against the ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standards.
The company also identifies Deflorio as having a hands-on role in its operations and growth. A Cleaneroo company profile describes his background as including business and real estate experience alongside practical experience in the cleaning industry.
