OpenAI is an artificial intelligence research and deployment company based in San Francisco, California.^[1] It is best known for creating GPT-4, the model powering Bing AI’s natural language processing capabilities, as well as other technologies like DALL-E and Codex.^[2]

Collaboration with Microsoft

OpenAI partnered with Microsoft in 2019,^[3] leading to the integration of its AI models into Microsoft products such as Bing AI and Microsoft Copilot.^[4]
