Abdullah Md Raihan Chy

Abdullah Md. Raihan Chy is a Bangladeshi Best Selling Author lecturer and machine learning researcher specializing in machine learning, quantum computing, and AI-driven cybersecurity. He currently serves as a Lecturer in Computer Science at Sunshine Grammar School and College in Chattogram, Bangladesh, and as a Research Assistant at ZogBiyog. His research interests include quantum machine learning, cybersecurity, natural language processing, and AI-based fraud detection.

Early life and education

Abdullah Md. Raihan Chy completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Southern University Bangladesh between 2019 and 2023. He graduated with a GPA of 3.54 out of 4.00 and ranked 2nd among 45 students in his department.

His undergraduate thesis titled CLocMLGuard: A Novel Risk Scoring Framework for Transaction Card Fraud Mitigation and Detection with Machine Learning was accepted and published by IEEE at the 16th International Conference on Computing Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT) held in Indore, India.

He completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Islamia Degree College, Chittagong (2017–2019) and his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Khaja Ajmeri High School, Chittagong (2011–2017).

Academic and research career

ZogBiyog

Since 2024, Abdullah has been working as a Research Assistant at ZogBiyog, a software company in Bangladesh. His research work focuses on machine learning, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and medical imaging.

At ZogBiyog, he contributes to research aligned with real-world product development and scalable artificial intelligence systems. His responsibilities include building machine learning pipelines, managing research codebases, and implementing automated ML and quantum machine learning workflows. His work has contributed to improving cybersecurity systems and developing intelligent platforms for data analysis and behavioral insights.

Asia Pacific Journal of Energy and Environment

Abdullah also serves as an article reviewer for the Asia Pacific Journal of Energy and Environment (APJEEE), a Malaysia-based academic journal. In this role, he evaluates research manuscripts for originality, scientific rigor, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Sunshine Grammar School and College

In 2023, Abdullah joined Sunshine Grammar School and College in Chattogram as a Lecturer in Computer Science. He teaches O-Level and A-Level Computer Science and Applied Information Technology based on British and Australian curricula.

His work includes teaching programming, cybersecurity, algorithms, and networking. He has mentored over 220 students and received the Top Performing Tutor award in 2024 for his teaching performance.

Mia Academy

From 2021 to 2023, Abdullah worked remotely as an IT Coordinator at Mia Academy in Dhaka. He managed cybersecurity systems, developed an online learning platform, and supported digital learning initiatives that contributed to institutional growth.

Probaha IT Coaching Center

Between 2021 and 2022, he worked as an instructor at Probaha IT Coaching Center in Chattogram, where he taught Physics, Mathematics, and ICT to students preparing for board examinations.

Leadership and volunteer work

Abdullah served as Vice President of the Southern University Bangladesh Computer Club between 2023 and 2024. During this time, he organized programming workshops, coding competitions, and mentored more than 300 students in Python programming and software development.

He is also associated with the United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB), Chattogram Division, contributing to initiatives related to education, youth leadership, and community empowerment.
