Hashim Tariq Bhat[1] born (12 October 2002) in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, is an entrepreneur, author, digital consultant, and photographer.[2][3] He is widely recognised for his contribution to contemporary photography in Kashmir and for documenting nature, culture, and the emotional depth of everyday life through his lens. Over the years, Bhat has expanded his career into digital entrepreneurship, brand-building, youth empowerment and online reputation management.

Photographer
Hashim was contemplating in class sixth,[4] when he got a Mobile telephone from his folks and he involved it for great reason as he caught a few decent shots from that device.[5][6]
Over the years, he transformed his hobby into a serious art form, developing a distinctive style rooted in natural storytelling, landscape framing, and cultural representation. His photography has been featured in multiple regional and national media outlets, earning him recognition as one of the emerging young photographers from Kashmir.
He has also expanded into commercial photography, covering events, nature documentation, portraits, and concept-based photographic storytelling. His visual work often highlights Kashmir’s environment, heritage, and the subtle emotions of daily life.
Author
Hashim composed[7] his first book named "Daleel The Story Of My Snaps".[8] This book highlighted the emotional connection between humans and nature, with each photograph accompanied by a short narrative.
His second book **"The Anecdote"**, further expands his creative philosophy by blending visuals with reflective stories. Both books have been praised for their originality and simple yet powerful storytelling style.[9]
He is currently working on new books, motivational writings, and digital content designed to inspire youth, especially those beginning their journey in creative fields.
Published Work
Education
He attended Crescent Public School in Srinagar before beginning his B.A. studies at Amar Singh College, where he left after one year. Hashim is a student at the Central University of Kashmir, where his major is BVoc. Tourism & Hospitality.[12][13]
During his academic journey, he has participated in cultural research projects, heritage documentation, tourism studies, and creative arts activities, which strengthened his understanding of storytelling, preservation, and digital tourism promotion.
Personal Life
Hashim grew up in a supportive family in Ganderbal and often credits his parents for encouraging his passion for creativity and technology.
