Sazedur Abedin Santo is a Bangladeshi poet, journalist[1], writer[2], and social organizer.[3] He is known for his literary works, particularly poetry that blends human emotions with philosophical and social themes, as well as his contributions to journalism in various national and online media outlets.[4][5]
Early life and education
Santo was born on 2 February in Saghata Upazila, Gaibandha District, Bangladesh. He spent his early life in Bogura, where he completed his secondary and higher secondary education. He later moved to Dhaka to pursue a Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.S.) in Political Science at Government Bangabandhu College.
Career
Journalism
Santo began his journalism career with online platforms and gradually contributed to multiple Bangladeshi news outlets.[2] He has worked as a staff reporter for Daily Alokit Sakal and contributed to several publications, including:

He has written on topics such as travel, entrepreneurship, culture, rural heritage, and social issues.[1]

Santo serves as the editor of the literary magazine Unmesh Sahitya Samoyiki, which promotes emerging writers and contemporary Bengali literature.[8]
