Hashim Tariq Bhat[1] born(12 October 2002) in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir is an author and Photographer.[2][3] He is widely recognised for his contribution to contemporary photography in Kashmir and for documenting nature, culture and the emotional depth of everyday life through his lens.

Career
Photographer
Hashim was contemplating in class sixth,[4] when he got a Mobile telephone from his folks and he involved it for great reason as he caught a few decent shots from that device.[5][6]
Over the years, he transformed his hobby into a serious art form, developing a distinctive style rooted in natural storytelling, landscape framing, and cultural representation. His photography has been featured in multiple regional and national media portals, earning him recognition as one of the emerging young photographers from Kashmir.
Hashim has also mentored aspiring photographers and digital storytellers, helping many young talents publish their work. He recently started a magazine initiative aimed at giving a platform to budding writers, poets, and visual artists. On being asked about the challenges he faced as a photographer, he often highlights the lack of resources, harsh weather, and socio-economic obstacles — yet he continued pursuing his passion with determination.[7]
Author
Hashim composed[8] his first book named "Daleel The Story Of My Snaps".[9] This book highlighted the emotional connection between humans and nature, with each photograph accompanied by a short narrative.
He as of late created his subsequent book "The Anecdote", an expansion of his photographic philosophy, where visuals and short stories blend to form deeper interpretations of life.[10] Hashim’s works have been appreciated for their simplicity, originality, and ability to capture untouched emotions.
He is currently working on several new creative projects, including photography collections, motivational writings, and digital content that inspire young artists.
Published Work
Education
He attended Crescent Public School in Srinagar before beginning his B.A. studies at Amar Singh College, where he left after one year. Hashim is a student at the Central University of Kashmir, where his major is BVoc. Tourism & Hospitality.[13][14]
During his academic journey, he has participated in cultural research projects, tourism studies, and creative arts activities, which further strengthened his understanding of storytelling and heritage preservation. His education has played a key role in shaping his perspective as both a photographer and an author.
