Kajal Arefin Ami is a Bangladeshi director, scriptwriter, and dramatist. He has directed several popular single-episode and serial dramas. He gained significant recognition for creating the highly popular drama series Bachelor Point.[1][2][3]
He won the CJFB Performance Award for Best Director in the 19th, 20th, and 21st editions for Bachelor Point.[4][5][6]

Controversy
Ami's popular series, Bachelor Point, faced criticism for its language. He addressed these issues in the media.[14][15][16][17] He was also criticized for a Coca-Cola advertisement, which resulted in a 48-hour ultimatum from the cyber community.[18] Regarding this, Ami clarified:
