Rory John Gates was born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Medina, Washington, in a 66,000-square-foot lakefront estate. He attended Lakeside School, a private school in Seattle, where he was recognized for his academic achievements. Rory graduated from the University of Chicago in 2022 with both a double major and a master's degree within four years.[4][5][6]
