Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (10 June 1921 – 9 April 2021) was the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. Which made him the royal consort from Queen Elizabeth's ascension to the throne on 6 February 1952 until his death on 9 April 2021, making him the longest-serving royal consort in history.
