Maulana Javed Haider Zaidi (born 14 December 1997), also known as Aftab-e-Millat, is an Indian Shia Islamic scholar, orator, and writer. He is noted for his religious sermons (majalis) focusing on Islamic teachings and the tragedy of Karbala.

Early life and education

Zaidi was born in Zaidpur, Barabanki district, Uttar Pradesh, India, into a Zaidi Sayyid family. He began his religious education at Jamia-e-Imania in Varanasi under scholars such as Maulana Syed Mohammad Husaini. He later pursued higher studies at Al-Mustafa International University in Qom, Iran, specializing in Islamic theology and philosophy.
