The Dhakeshwari Temple, also known as Dhakeshwari National Temple, is a Hindu temple located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is considered the national temple of Bangladesh and is one of the famous Shaktipeeths of the Indian subcontinent. The word Dhakeshwari means 'Ishwari of Dhaka' or 'protector of Dhaka city'. It is believed that this temple houses the jewel in the crown of Sati.
