Sarvia Hasan (born September 8, 2022) is an American children's author and illustrator. In November 2025, she became the youngest female author to publish a book, recognized by Guinness World Records at three years and 63 days old.[1]
Early life and education
Hasan was born in New York, United States, and currently resides in Springfield, Illinois.[1] She began creating original stories around two and a half years old, narrating in both Bangla and English.[2]
Career
In November 2025, Hasan published her first book, Sarvia and Her Little World (সার্ভিয়ার ছোট্ট পৃথিবী), which includes five original stories she wrote and illustrated. The book was released in English (ISBN 978-984-29204-5-5) and Bangla (ISBN 978-984-29204-6-2) editions.[3][4]
The book is available internationally through Amazon, Rokomari, PBS, Bookshoper, and Wafilife.[5][6][7][8]
Major achievements
On November 10, 2025, Hasan was officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the youngest female author to publish a book at the age of three years and 63 days.[1] Her achievement received international media coverage, including in Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.[9][10]
