Xefer Rahman (Bengali: জেফার রহমান; born March 1999) is a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter, actress, and YouTuber. She is known for her fusion of contemporary pop, R&B, electronic music, and Bangla folk elements, and for her rise through digital media platforms.

Early life

Xefer Rahman was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She developed an interest in music at an early age and initially gained attention by uploading English-language cover songs on YouTube and social media platforms.

Career

Music

Xefer Rahman began her professional music career in the mid-2010s. Her debut album Uncaged was released in 2017. She later gained mainstream recognition through popular singles such as Jhumka (with producer MUZA), Nei Proyojon, Harbo Na, and Ojana.

She has collaborated with several Bangladeshi musicians and producers, experimenting with electronic, EDM, and alternative pop sounds. In 2024, she released Arale Harale, incorporating Afrobeat and EDM influences. Her 2025 single Teer was noted for its visual storytelling and experimental approach.

Xefer Rahman has also released socially conscious music, including the English-language song Rohingyas Cry, highlighting the Rohingya humanitarian crisis.

She has performed live at various national events and concerts in Bangladesh.

Acting

In addition to music, Xefer Rahman has worked as an actress. She made her acting debut in the film Monogamy (2024). She later appeared in the web series Myself Allen Swapan 2 (2025), where she also contributed to the soundtrack.

Personal life

In January 2026, Xefer Rahman married Bangladeshi television host Rafsan Sabab in a private ceremony held in Aminbazar, Dhaka.
